Raw Cocoa Power Balls

Nuts and raw cocoa in our Raw Cocoa Energy Balls support your body with energy and are an alternative to normal sweets.

For chocolate lovers there is a perfect alternative to conventional chocolate. Because our Raw Cocoa Energy Balls are filled with natural cocoa powder. The cocoa has a relatively high amount of fat and is thus quite rich in calories. But it is also mood-enhancing and some sources even see positive effects for your skin. This makes the Raw Cocoa Energy Balls with its natural ingredients the optimal energiser

Besides different ingredients with lots of power like nuts and cocoa, honey or maple syrup will give the power balls a nice hint of sweetness, however containing less calories than sugar.

1 cup ground nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, …)
½ cup shredded coconut
½ cup (raw) cocoa powder
¼ cup cocoa nibs (optional)
¼ -½ cup honey or maple syrup
½ cup coconut oil
1 pinch of salt
cinnamon, vanilla, chilli, spirulina, maca or TEATOX Skinny Superfood Powder

Mix all ingredients in a big bowl and form them to small balls. Put the balls in the fridge, so they will keep their form. You can store the Raw Cocoa Power Balls for one week in the fridge or one month in the freezer.

Tip: You can use different types of nuts for this recipe. Just choose your favourites like cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, … Either buy shredded nuts or just prepare them yourself with a blender.
